Rapper, Leinart face off Saturday in Snoop Bowl VI
The Patriots' perfect season gives them every reason in the world to come to the Valley with confidence. But if Matt Leinart and the Cardinals have anything to say about it, the streak ends in Arizona.
The Patriots - the one's hailing from Los Angeles, not New England - are coached by rapper Snoop Dogg. They're also only in elementary school.
The team will face off against Leinart and the Chandler Cardinals in Snoop Bowl VI at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hamilton High School in Chandler.

| Cardinals impressed by work ethic of new 'scout'
The Cardinals have a new scout. It wouldn’t be quite right to call him a grizzled old football hand, though he often has a five o’clock shadow. He is Matt Leinart.
In the two months since he suffered a season-ending shoulder injury at St. Louis, Leinart has morphed into a studious behind-the-scenes worker. He helps the Cardinals coaches and the team’s offense by studying videotape while working to be ready to play next season.

The Pat Tillman Foundation launched an initiative Friday that will recognize pro athletes not so much for performance, but for their character, integrity and spirit.

Matt Leinart makes $500K pledge to Mesa hospital
Earlier this year, Cardinals quarterback Matt Leinart pledged $500,000 through his foundation to benefit the Through the Eyes of a Child Capital Campaign at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa.
He reinforced that pledge Thursday with a visit with children at the hospital. Leinart, 24, was sporting a sling from a collarbone injury in a game Oct. 7 against St. Louis.
The donation will support the expansion of the Banner Children's Hospital at Banner Desert, which will include a seven-story pediatric patient tower designed to be the centerpiece of the project.
The tower, near Dobson Road and Southern Avenue in Mesa, will expand pediatric beds at the hospital from 137 to 248. It is scheduled to be completed in summer 2009.
The entire children's hospital expansion is expected to cost more than $300 million.

A Message From Matt:
Thank you so much for you interest in the Matt Leinart
Foundation. With your support, I hope that we will be able to create
opportunities for children in need of extra special help. During my time
at USC and at the onset of my professional career with the Arizona
Cardinals, I have been fortunate enough to achieve many of my childhood
aspirations. I truly believe that all children should have equal
opportunities whatever they might be.
Unfortunately there are many children who are unable
to pursue their goals, whether it be in sports or in education. That's
why I'd like to provide avenues through the Matt Leinart Foundation. The
beneficiaries of our foundation will include children facing severe
physical, emotional and economical hardships which limit the achievement
of their dreams.
With your assistance and support, the Matt Leinart
Foundation with offer these kids the breaks they need, the same breaks
that many of us have taken for granted- to lift their spirits, make their
hopes soar, and direct them on the path to fulfillment. Its been said
that in our lives, we never stop learning and we never stop growing. I
have many goals that I would like to accomplish including leading the
Cardinals to the Super Bowl, however, you will help me fulfill one of my
biggest dreams through the Matt Leinart Foundation- one that will have a
lifelong impact by touching and enriching "lives to provide hope to children through" activities and special programs. With your
