Be Perfect

The Matt Leinart Foundation is proud to be partnered with the Be Perfect Foundation. The Be Perfect Foundation is a grassroots non-profit 501(c)3 organization established in 2007 by Hal Hargrave Jr. Hal created the Be Perfect Foundation just a few months after he suffered a life altering automobile accident, which left him paralyzed from the neck down.

The Foundation was set up when Hal realized the short falls and the limitations insurance companies were putting on some of his spinal cord injured friends and decided that he needed to help them along in their recovery. The Foundation offers scholarships for activity-based therapy at Project Walk to qualified recipients. Our non-profit also provides funds to those needing wheelchairs, adapting cars, as well as covering unpaid medical bills to those who cannot afford to pay their deductibles and general daily medical necessities.

Hal has done an amazing job in raising money and bringing awareness to Spinal Cord Injury. 100% of all money raised goes to SCI clients. To find out more information on the Be Perfect Foundation please go to www.beperfectfoundation.com

Salvation Army

The Matt Leinart Foundation is proud to help the Salvation Army LA Red Shield. They operate in the Pico-Union district of Los Angeles. Their purpose is to guide and mentor young people and strengthen families by providing educational, recreational, and spiritual programs in a positive and safe environment. Growing up in Pico Union is tough. Kids here fall prey to gangs and violence every day. They offer the children an alternative so that they can still be kids while building skills for life.

CHOC & CHLA

Every year we are proud to support one of our local hospitals. Matt loves to visit with the patients, play video games, color, and bring them toys or ice cream.
